Poetry sample.

Ok so this is something I woke up one morning and found next to my bed after a night of "enlightenment". Big up to the people who know just what that means!
Anyways it's in my handwriting but I don't really remember writing it!

It does, however, reflect my views on the state of our big old rock we call the world today. Enjoy.
Would love to hear some views on it.

If anyone cares at all.

Of setting suns
And starlit nights
I’ve come to dream of late
My woes forgot
And troubles gone
And all that’s left is onward: to fate

I’ve come to dream
In visions clear
Of how we’ll come to be
To live as one
And die as one
Not kings or dogs
Jus you and me

But such a dream is but a dream
No more solid than the smoke and fumes
That rise from flames
Of hatred and greed
And consume the world into its doom

A world where mothers fear their sons
And when young kills young it’s no surprise
Where one takes all
And voices: mute
There’s tyranny in judge’s guise

Will we ever be forgiven
For what we’ve done to ourselves and all?
Is there anything more
But drown in neighbors’ tears?
Tears that we’ll cause
Tears that wont dry
But that’s if anyone cares at all.
